Mia Dimšić - Christmas Concert for Children and Adults

Singer-songwriter Mia Dimšić quickly won large audiences with her talent and songs, proving to be a singing sensation.
Her debut song Budi mi blizu (Be Close to Me) tops the charts and the song Slobodna (Free) confirms that Mia is definitely here to stay. But she achieved real, big success with her hit Život nije siv (Life Is Not Grey) in July 2016. It was her debut at the Split Festival.

Mia Dimšić’s music path started unexpectedly in 2014. She participated in a culture tour around Canada and the USA, where she met her today's associate, manager and co-author Damir Bačić. She signed a contract with Croatia Records already in 2015.

Mia's sudden popularity logically led to her first album and her debut studio album titled Život nije siv (Life Is Not Grey) was released on the first day of spring 2017. In the following few weeks, it dominated the lists of top-selling albums. All these successes brought Mia nice recognitions; four Porin Croatian Music Award nominations and winning the Porin for the best video stand out among them. She also won the 2016 Croatian Discography Union Award for best new performer, the 2016 CMC TV Award for best performer and the 2016 My First Music Pub - Female Singer Award by the Music Pub show hosted by Zlatko Turkalj and broadcast on Croatian Radio Channel 2.

At the end of 2016, she gave a concert at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, contributing to the celebration of its 43rd anniversary. Eminent musicians and colleagues performed with her then: Zvonimir Glibušić, Nenad Dujmić, Dario Hleb, Danijel Peršić, Ante Gelo, Domagoj Pavin, Franciska Perković and a string quartet. That concert was released on DVD. It attracted a lot of attention of the audience, together with her CD with Mia's hits Bezimeni (Nameless), Život nije siv (Life Is Not Grey), Budi mi blizu (Be Close to Me) and Slobodna (Free) so that her first album was also released on vinyl.

She started 2017 with an appearance at the Zagreb Festival. It was followed by appearances at the Split Festival, the CMC Festival in Vodice and Slavonia Fest – CMC200 in Slavonski Brod.  She also had guest appearances at the RadioCity International Festival in Milan, Italy, in April and in Hungary’s capital, Budapest, in September

Christmas holidays are nearing and we are happy to say that Mia is preparing an album with Christmas songs. We are also glad to announce a big Christmas concert at Lisinski Hall. The concert under the motto Life Is Not Grey is intended for children and adults alike. It will be held on Sunday, 3 December 2017.
