3rd  INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF YOUNG OPERA SINGERS STOJAN STOJANOV GANČEV

Gala concert and awarding of prizes to laureates of the 3rd International Vocal Competition Stojan Stojanov Ganchev has been held in Zagreb since 2021 and is named after the great opera artist and pedagogue who, in his 25 years of activity at the Zagreb National Theater of Opera and Ballet, left an indelible mark and educated many young generations. One of his students and heirs is Arijana Gigliani Philipp, the creator of the competition and member of the jury. She is joined by members Alex Grigorev, Tact general director of management in Berlin, opera doyen of the Croatian National Opera Vitomir Marof, Valentina Taškova, Nataša Antoniazzo, Edita Garčević Koželj and jury president Alexei Tanovitski.

The most talented award-winning singers will perform at the gala concert, who will present themselves to a wider audience after the award ceremony.

The competition is organized by Musica Zagreb with the support of the Zagreb City Office for Culture, the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, the Culture Center KNAP and the Zlatka Baloković Music School.
