After selling out the Lisinski Hall in 2023 and leaving the audience breathless, the spectacular BLACK SYMPHONY project is coming to Zagreb again! Due to huge interest and great reactions, this unique combination of heavy metal and classical music returns to the stage with an even more powerful repertoire and energy that will be talked about for a long time. A fusion of the immortal hits of Metallica and a symphony orchestra with more than 30 top musicians awaits you, who will perform some of the legendary band's most famous compositions — among them The Call of Ktulu, No Leaf Clover, Nothing Else Matters, Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman, and exclusively Sanitarium in a symphonic arrangement, performed for the first time in this line-up! Metallica is one of the most important bands of all time and undoubtedly a band that has raised and influenced several generations, and the Zagreb audience still remembers the legendary concert at the Hippodrome in 2010. The concert at Lisinski will be modeled after the concert in 1999, when Metallica performed and recorded their first S&M accompanied by the San Francisco Symphonic Orchestra. The idea for such a concert came from the tragically deceased bassist Cliff Burton, and interestingly, this was bassist Jason Newsted's last performance with the band.
