Đani Stipaničev, one of our finest vocalists with a permanent engagement at the Komedija Theater, released the album "Nostalgia" a year ago. The album, featuring hits by great singers, was introduced with the song "Odiseja" by the beloved chansonnier Leo Martin. The idea behind this album was to reinterpret some of the unforgettable songs from the 1960s and 1970s in a more modern way and offer them to new generations. Goran Kovačić deserves credit for the excellent arrangements of all ten songs on the album. It includes songs by groups like Indexi and Pro arte, the legendary Mišo Kovač, as well as Dragan Antić and Boba Stefanović. Among them is the song "Jedna lađa morem plovi" by Jasna Zlokić.
Interestingly, Đani Stipaničev began his discography with an album of cover songs titled "Kartolina iz Dalmacije" before releasing several original albums.
Đani Stipaničev is well-known to the audience of Lisinski Concert Hall, where he has performed in our biggest musicals such as "Jalta, Jalta," "Jesus Christ Superstar," and others. In the concert entitled "Nostalgia," Đani will be accompanied by the Revue Orchestra conducted by maestro Josip Cvitanović. It will be a musical journey through time and a delight for audiences of all ages, as Đani's performances leave no one indifferent. The concert will also feature the beloved singer Jasna Zlokić and the gospel ensemble The Messengers.
