Croatian pianist Javor Bračić is the winner of numerous awards at international competitions in Croatia, Italy, Belgium and the USA. He has performed at festivals all over the world from China and Russia to South Africa, Chile and California. He recorded the CD album “Tribute to Haydn”, and his performance was broadcast on New York’s classical radio station WQXR. For his solo recital held at Carnegie Hall, the critics of the New York Concert Review particularly emphasized his “deep and sincere musicality, and excellent technique”. He has also performed at other prestigious stages in New York: Steinway Hall, Merkin Hall and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and at the Kennedy Center in Washington. In Croatia, Javor Bračić has given recitals in the Matica Hrvatska cycle, at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, at the Samobor Music Autumn, at the Musical Evenings in St. Donatus in Zadar, and at the opening of the Zagreb Summer Evenings. He performed with the Zagreb Soloists and the Zagreb Youth Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Srzić, and in 2015 he performed twice with the HRT Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Kranjčević and Maestro Ebihara. Javor Bračić teaches piano at Queens College – City University of New York, and the University of Connecticut.
