Carmina Burana at Lisinski Hall in June

One of the world’s most performed cantatas will resound in Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall on 6 June 2020. It will be performed by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ivan Goran Kovačić Academic Choir and operatic soloists from the Zagreb and Osijek Croatian National Theatres.

Lavish orchestrations, exciting rhythm exchanges and impressive polyphony that grace this popular cantata will be performed by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ivan Goran Kovačić Academic Choir on the stage of Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall on 6 June 2020. The demanding solo parts for extraordinary voice ranges will be performed by the soloists and principal singers of the Zagreb Croatian National Theatre Opera, soprano Ivana Lazar and baritone Ljubomir Puškarić, and the principal singer of the Osijek Croatian National Theatre Opera, tenor Ladislav Vrgoč.

The orchestra and choir will be conducted by young conductor Veton Marevci, winner of the 2018 Young Musician of the Year Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra Award.

Tickets costing 100, 140 and 180 kunas are available at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall box office and online at www.lisinski.hr and ulaznice.hr.
