Bruno Mičetić brings his unique concert project, "Guitars' Dialogue — Echoes Of The Earth," to the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall – Small Hall, an inspiring musical journey that dissolves the boundaries between acoustic and electric guitar while exploring the meeting point of diverse musical traditions, cultures, and contemporary artistic expression. The concert is part of the tour introducing his upcoming album, "Echoes Of The Earth," offering Zagreb audiences the opportunity to experience this distinctive musical concept in the intimate setting of the Small Hall. On Thursday, October 1, 2026, the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall – Small Hall will become a meeting place for outstanding instrumental music, contemporary artistry, and musical influences that transcend geographical and stylistic boundaries.
"Guitars' Dialogue" is an innovative project in which Bruno Mičetić creates a dialogue between two guitars, blending the warmth of the acoustic guitar with the energy of the electric guitar into a unique musical whole. Each composition opens a new sonic landscape, transforming the concert into a captivating experience that brings together diverse musical traditions, improvisation, and the artist's distinctive creative voice.
The concert programme features music from Bruno Mičetić's forthcoming album, "Echoes Of The Earth," presented as part of the album's namesake concert tour. The new compositions explore the richness of musical cultures and their interwoven traditions, uniting a wide range of musical influences within Mičetić's unmistakable artistic language. The programme will also include selected works from his 2023 album "Sonosphere," which was nominated for the Porin Award for Best Instrumental Performance. These original compositions combine rich guitar arrangements, looping techniques, and a contemporary musical approach to create vivid and immersive sonic landscapes.
Bruno Mičetić is one of Croatia's most distinguished guitarists and composers of his generation. After studying at the Jazz Department of the Landeskonservatorium in Klagenfurt, he built a successful international career, performing at numerous jazz festivals in Croatia and abroad. He is the founder of the Rab Jazz Festival and the creator of several acclaimed projects and albums, including "Phantoms Whisper," "Beauty of Your Soul," "Capturing the Moment," and "Out of the Shadow." His artistic development led to the concert cycle "Melodies of the National Parks," from which the "Guitars' Dialogue" project emerged—a musical story that continues to evolve, exploring new sounds, artistic collaborations, and creative horizons.
"Echoes Of The Earth" offers audiences the opportunity to experience music from a different perspective—as a fusion of virtuoso instrumental performance, improvisation, and the encounter of diverse musical traditions.
