The centenary of the death of one of the greatest opera masters of all time, Giacomo Puccini, is also marked in the Saturday at Lisinski concert series. Instrumentalists from the orchestra of the world's most famous opera house, where Puccini himself saw the premieres of many of his masterpieces, are coming to Zagreb to mark it with a concert. I Virtuosi del Teatro Alla Scala are much more than a chamber ensemble made up of members of the Philharmonic and Opera Orchestras of Milan’s Teatro alla Scala. It is a concentrate of the best musicians, a combination of orchestral soloists and section leaders with many years of experience working at concerts and opera productions with the world's best conductors. They spread the beauty of instrumental music and Italian virtuosity around the world; they bring an atypical, non‑opera, different Puccini in their performance of his instrumental pieces and solo songs. They orchestrated their piano part themselves. Lisinski Hall brings them exclusively together with the currently most sought‑after Croatian opera artist on Italian opera stages, soprano Darija Auguštan. They have had similar collaborations with opera divas such as Renata Tebaldi and Barbara Frittoli and they regularly record for major labels, so this concert will surely be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Subscriptions go on sale on Monday, 20 May 2024. Subscription tickets are available at the Lisinski Hall's box office and online at www.lisinski.hr.
The 2023/2024 season subscribers can purchase subscriptions at preferential rates and keep their seats only in the period from 20 May to 21 June 2024. After this period, they will be able to purchase subscriptions at a preferential rate on regular sale, but their current seats cannot be guaranteed.
Our pre-summer break subscription sale ends on Friday, 12 July 2024. The post-summer break subscription sale will continue at the Lisinski Hall box office and online at www.lisinski.hr on Monday, 2 September, and last until Saturday, 28 September 2024.
