A German Requiem - The beauty of Brahms’ composing skills

The students of the Music Academy in Zagreb, who are willing to dedicate their lives to music, shared with us the beauty of Brahms’ composing skills while performing one of the most impressive vocal-instrumental creations.

Forerunner of absolute music, unwilling to burden it with roles outside the musical sphere, however he decided to join together the texts of the Lutheran Bible and the Apocrypha with music and to ponder upon dying, death, but mostly upon the ones who stay. The masterful creations for soprano and baritone soloists interact with the elaborated choir and orchestral parts and they comfort the crying ones during masses for the deceased with the most wonderful art of the world – music.
